Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OzLevel (including app.ozlevel.com.au and van.app.ozlevel.com.au) or the OzLevel marketing site (ozlevel.com.au), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of OzLevel after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page when changes are made.
The Service
OzLevel is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that uses your phone's built-in accelerometer and gyroscope sensors to help you level a motorhome or caravan using ramp steps. No external hardware is required.
OzLevel is available in two tiers:
- Free tier — available to all users at no cost. An account is required to store your vehicle dimensions and preferences across sessions.
- OzLevel Pro — a one-time purchase unlocking additional features, including Slideout Seal Protection mode. Pro access is linked to your account and available across devices.
The OzLevel app requires a compatible smartphone with functioning accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. Accuracy may vary depending on device hardware and calibration. OzLevel operates entirely offline once installed — no internet connection is required to use the levelling features.
Accounts
An account is required to use OzLevel. Your account stores your vehicle dimensions and preferences so they are available across devices and sessions. An account is also required to access OzLevel Pro features after purchase.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@ozlevel.com.au.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Accounts are for individual use and may not be shared or transferred.
Payments and Pro Access
OzLevel Pro is offered as a one-time purchase of $9.99 AUD. There are no recurring charges, subscription fees, or hidden costs.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Pro access is activated on your account immediately upon successful payment. If you experience any issue with Pro activation after payment, contact us at support@ozlevel.com.au and we will resolve it promptly.
New accounts are eligible for a 30-day free trial of OzLevel Pro.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on OzLevel Pro purchases, no questions asked.
To request a refund, email support@ozlevel.com.au within 30 days of your purchase date with the email address used at checkout. We will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe.
After 30 days, refunds are not available except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
Acceptable Use
You agree to use OzLevel only for its intended purpose — levelling motorhomes and caravans — and in accordance with all applicable laws.
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the OzLevel app
- Use OzLevel in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any OzLevel account, system, or data
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from OzLevel
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using OzLevel
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Intellectual Property
All content on ozlevel.com.au, app.ozlevel.com.au, and van.app.ozlevel.com.au — including text, graphics, the OzLevel logo, code, and the OzLevel name — is owned by Ross Bolden trading as OzLevel and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.
Your use of OzLevel does not grant you any ownership of or licence to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
OzLevel is a levelling aid designed to assist you in positioning your vehicle. It is not a substitute for your own judgement, and ground conditions, vehicle weight distribution, ramp quality, and other factors affect levelling outcomes.
Always ensure your vehicle is safely and stably positioned before occupying it. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or other consequence arising from your use of OzLevel or reliance on its readings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OzLevel's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for OzLevel Pro (if any).
Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, condition, or warranty that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including any consumer guarantees that apply to the supply of digital products.
Privacy
Your use of OzLevel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information. By using OzLevel, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
OzLevel uses third-party services including Supabase (account data), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), and Resend (email). Your use of these services through OzLevel is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
Termination
You may stop using OzLevel at any time. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, visit our Data Deletion page.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to OzLevel for any user who breaches these terms, with or without notice.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund outside the 30-day refund window, except where required by law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of OzLevel will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, unless the Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise.
